Home renovation

In early 2004 we extended our home by adding an en suite and walk-in wardrobe to the main bedroom. We engaged a company called Spacebusters to do the complete project from design, council approval, construction, the lot. We signed the contract in September 2003 and work commenced January 2004 after the slow council approval. Fit-out of the bathroom and wardrobe furniture was completed in June 2004.

Although it took a lot longer than we expected, Spacebusters was an excellent company to deal with. They employed top tradesmen, communicated constantly with us and kept the place exceptionally clean and tidy throughout the work.

The side retaining wall and path was done by a fellow I found in the local paper called Tony Habkouk. He too was an excellent tradesman, and has since done a lot more work for us. He lives locally and we’ve got to know his wife and children.

The photos show our home before, during and afterwards.
