While the north of Australia is recovering from massive flooding, fierce firestorms have killed more that 173 people, destroyed nearly 800 homes and burnt out 350,000 hectares in the southern state of Victoria.
Staged alongside Sydney’s spectacular Bondi to Tamarama coastal walk, Sculpture by the Sea is Australia’s largest annual outdoor free to the public exhibition of sculpture. The 2008 exhibition featured over 100 sculptures from 7 different countries.
At 6am on 24th August 1988, Linda arrived in Australia to start a new life. We celebrated the 20th anniversary with a gathering of all our children. The weather cleared to a warm afternoon allowing us to enjoy a glorious outdoor barbeque lunch.
