Evan has been re-admitted to hospital with a fever, low blood pressure and irregular heart beat, probably caused by another stomach infection.
After seven months, Evan was released from hospital on Friday 28th September. During this time he has spent two months in intensive care, undergone two rounds of chemotherapy, two stomach operations, a bone marrow transplant and many complications and fevers. Evan is running a mild fever, so he will remain in hospital for a couple of days for treatment. Hopefully day-passes will then resume.
It’s now five weeks since Evan had his bone marrow transplant. So far there have been no host-versus-graft symptoms, with the only problems being fevers.
